ACRESURE Stadium to take on the San Francisco 49ers and enter uh it's definitely an interesting uh match up here between the Steelers and the 49ers you know usually you you like to see kind of like a divisional match up there in week one of course last year they played the Bengals in week one but now you're facing a really really good football team here to kick off the season Kenny Pickett is going to have a real test against that San Francisco defense with Nick Bosa the defensive player of the year from last season coming after him and man I think this is going to be a great test for Matt Canada's offense to really see how this Steelers offense is going to be able uh to adjust to the new changes that they've made over the off season I think it's gonna be really interesting to see what Matt Canada's power Run game will look like against a really really good and solid front seven that the 49ers have this one will be a tough one but the Steelers Can Come Away with a victory it'll first Prime Time game of the season against the dreaded Cleveland clowns that's right once again at action Stadium here Monday Night Football it's going to be a great great start to the season here getting two home games in a row of course the Steelers beat the Browns to finish out the 2022 season beating DeShaun Watson now it'd definitely be interesting to see here on Monday Night Football how DeSean Watson plays against the Steelers defense he really struggled against T.J watt Minka Fitzpatrick and Mike Tomlin and crew uh to finish out the 2022 campaign but now he's gonna have a full off season here with the Browns it's definitely going to be interesting to see how these two teams match up here going into 2023 and then you follow up this Monday night matchup with a short week here Sunday Night Football another Prime Time match up here against the Raiders and this is absolutely a game that you should win 49ers Browns hopefully you can win one of those one of those games to start out the season and then you get a game against the Raiders on the road in Las Vegas against Jimmy Garoppolo uh I don't expect the Raiders defense to really be that good this year so hopefully Kenny Pickett can can kind of show out here in this game I really do think that uh the Steelers are this is a game that they need to win they need to go ahead and get this game three Victory really establish themselves as a national presence in this game if they can win those two Prime Time games in a row I think that will really establish the Steelers as a national presence to be dealt with and then in week four you get a matchup against CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans on the road here in here in Texas here in Houston and I really do think that that's another game that the Steelers could win so if you win one of those first two games of the Season you can beat the Raiders on Sunday Night Football I think the Texans is another winnable game you can start out your season at three and one then in week five you get your first matchup against the Ravens returning to ACRESURE Stadium with Lamar Jackson getting those nice new weapons coming in this year with OB J and ZA{Y flowers who they drafted in this year's NFL Draft of course they got Rashawn Bateman and Mark Andrews as well it's going to be interesting to see how Lamar Jackson who hasn't really played well against the Steelers before matches up with the Steelers defense this year then in week six you get a bit of an early bye week here I would have rather seen the bye week come later in the season kind of recharge some batteries before a potential playoff push but I mean it's just the way that the the cookie crumbles sometimes sometimes you get that that earlier bye week and it just so happens that the Steelers will be having their Buy in week six this year then in week seven you go to Los Angeles there at Sofi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Rams it'll be interesting to see how Matthew Stafford comes back after an injury Riddle 2022 campaign of course they don't have Jalen Ramsey on that defense this year I think even on the road that it should be a pretty winnable game for the Pittsburgh Steelers then in week eight you go up oh you return to ACRESURE Stadium here and you take on the Jaguars a lot of people think that the Jaguars could be a breakout type of team this year with Trevor Lawrence kind of going into his third year now you know he's kind of really expected to take that next step but I think Kenny Pickett's ready to take that next step as well | think it'll be very interesting to another Prime Time game here at home for the Steelers this time against the Tennessee Titans now uh going into this matchup it Will definitely be interesting to see if Will LEVIS is taking over as the quarterback for the Tennessee Titans at this point in the season definitely seems like Mike very of RABEL is looking to move off of Ryan Tannehill at some point in the future so if it's Ryan Tanner Will guess you know whatever you know he's a good he's a decent quarterback but I think that the Steelers roster overall is much better than Tennessee and since their home in this matchup I think this should absolutely be another W for the black and gold then in week 10 they go up against the Green Bay Packers at home once again Jordan love not too sure how he will play he's definitely one of the biggest question marks at the quarterback position in the National Football League it Will definitely be interesting to see how the Packers are doing at that point in the season then in week 11 you travel to the Browns uh this time where you know you start the season in week two at home on Monday Night Football now you're going up against the brown it Will be interesting to see how DeSean Watson again kind of cultivates that chemistry throughout the season see if they may uh that they might be more of a formidable foe there week .
